I had a great day today. This morning I spent time booking a hotel in Ho chi Minh. Then leaving Bev in bed went for a wander. Not far just a few streets, but it was quiet and nice to have some me time! I had lunch with Bev then left him sat by the pool reading a book while I went for an afternoon at a craft workshop!!! I loved using my hand again for something other than face book!! Firstly I had an hours painting lesson with a famouse artist.( well they tell me he is, has 2 gallery's and building a third!!!) anyway with a small paint brush and charco paint he taught me how to paint grasses, a boat and a sunset, loved it loved loved it! My second class was making a lantern, the ones you see in the shops or hanging in trees all over Viet Nam! Well I covered it anyway. The bamboo frames came all ready assembled. We just cut squares of see through material and glued them on, most of the hard work would have been making the again I loved it. It was a charity workshop where the proceeds go to help disabled children from very poor homes. Well worth doing. If there was something at home the same I'd like to help!!! It was very inspiring. Anyway I came away feeling relaxed, and about £50 lighter!!!
